By road.

The event takes place on the Spilsby Recreation Ground, off Ancaster Avenue in the market town of Spilsby, Lincolnshire. The showground can be seen from the main A16 bypass although to access the site, you’ll need to turn off the main road. From the main A16, you can turn into the town centre via the B1195 or turn onto Boston Road.

Using public transport.

There are a number of bus routes which serve Spilsby town centre but these services will be limited on a Sunday. Please refer to the timetables operated by Stagecoach buses and Brylaine Travel for more details.

The nearest mainline train station is in Skegness, approximately 13 miles from Spilsby.

Visitor parking.

There is no parking for the public on the showground however we do have a free park and ride service which operates from the King Edward VI Academy, West End, Spilsby, Lincolnshire, PE23 5EW or the Vale Road Industrial Estate, Vale Road, Spilsby, PE23 5HE. The park and ride bus service will commence at approximately 9:45am on the morning of the event and will continue until approximately 4:30pm. Both of these car parks are however, only a five minute walk from the showground. Additional car parks are available although these are not served by the park and ride. These are:

Wheelchair/pushchair users.

The showground is a grass field, which is suitable for wheelchairs/pushchairs/prams as the grass is cut prior to the show. Please take extra care in wet weather. We also have a stand which offers mobility scooters for hire. Please note that these are hired at your own risk.

Dogs.

Dogs are welcome at the Spilsby Show. Please make sure your dog is kept on a lead at all times and please always clean up after your dog. There are two dog litter bins available and anyone who is caught not cleaning up after their dog will be reported to the relevant authorities. A dog warden will be patrolling the showground over the course of the day. Please also remember that if we have hot weather you must not leave your dog in your vehicle.
